Design Guide: One personalized binder with; one complete plan. This binder offers an overall room concept including a floorplan of the room, suggestions for accessories and furniture layout, window treatment ideas, fabric suggestions, wall covering/paint color suggestion, suggested retail stores and vendors. Everything you need to get your project moving forward with or without Linda.
Party Stylist - The Design Guide is also available for parties and events. Let Linda help you take your vision and create a visual idea book. Items in the Design Guide differ for each event, but it could include: Invitation Ideas, Favor Ideas, Table Decor Ideas, Venue Suggestions, Music Ideas, Centerpiece Concepts, Colors, Etc. The book will be for one theme idea. Most Social Event Design Guide Books range from $250 - $575 depending on the amount of service and suggestions needed.
Custom Services: Whether you require a stylist to update your space with accessories and pizzazz, a designer to create the home or office of your dreams, or just consult you "helping you through it so you can do it" we'd love to discuss your project.

Q: What do I need to know about your initial consultations? Is there a fee?
If you are unsure of working with an interior designer, Linda would be glad to meet with you in her office, for a free initial meeting. At this meeting, you will discuss what it is that you are hoping to accomplish with the help of a designer, and answer any questions you might have in regards to how Linda works. No design ideas will be discussed during the free consultation.

Hourly Design Fee Option - Starting a $99 per hour

Flat Rate Fee - determined after initial meeting with a written estimate
On-Site Design Coaching Starting at $250.00
Meet with interior designer Linda Calder in your home or place of business for two (2) hours. After discussing your needs, design style, and budget, Linda will make suggestions for color, furniture placement, window treatment styles, or whatever covers your design needs. Feel free to take notes during this visit. You will be left with new ideas, inspiration and a design direction. Each additional hour during the visit will be $99 per hour. This consultation and fee is for inspiration not implementation of the design project.
Your Own Personal Design Book Starting at $575.00*
Meet with interior designer Linda Smith in your home for two (2) hours for a one (1) room design consultation. Linda will assess your design style, tastes and personal desires for your room during the meeting. Additionally, for this consultation you will receive a personalized 3 ring binder. Your binder will include floorplans, suggested paint colors or wallpaper, fabric swatches, furniture choices, and purchasing suggestions. Your binder will be delivered to you within three (3) to four (4) weeks. Once you receive your binder, you will have the tools of the trade to pull your room together. This consultation and book presentation is for the inspiration of the design, not implementation.
If you would like additional design help from Linda, she can be hired at $99 per hour or at a flat rate fee based on how much you would like Linda to be involved in the whole design process. Flat rate fee projects will require a 50% deposit at the signing of the work proposal.
Define Your Design Style and Design a Room - $45
This is usually in a classroom/group setting of 4 - 6 people. No longer be confused with what your design style is and how to design a room.. After a session of cutting and clipping pictures, wallpaper, fabric samples, and paint chips, Linda will help you create your own personalized design book to keep in your home or car. This is a fun interactive project that will help you focus on what it is you want and like. This WILL save time and money while out shopping. This board can be for a certain room, or to define your own design style. for your whole house. Private sessions, at a different fee, available upon request. .
Window Treatment Consultation - $75.00 per room (if treatments will be different style and fabrics in each room)
Linda will meet with you in your home or office to discuss your needs and desires, take photographs, and complete a rough measure the windows and wall space. Once this is done, Linda will produce custom drawings for your windows along with fabric suggestions. If an order is placed within one month, of the presentation, $35 will be credited back towards the window treatment order for that room.
Color Consultations - Interior & Exterior $100 per hour (one hour minimum charge)
Do you need help choosing a paint color for just one room or for your entire home? Linda will show up with her color fan decks and help you select the colors that represents your personal style as well as complement the surroundings and accessories within the room.
Event Styling & Holiday Decorating Fees are quoted on a per job basis at a different hourly rate than interior design.
Turn Key Decorating
This is a great option for a second home or model home. From design concept to placing dishes in your cabinets, Linda can help you create your home away from home. Please call for a custom quote.
